1.1 Watch this clip. In it you'll see information about previous sessions. Also, you'll find new information related to Mexican rights.
After you watch the video, write down a summary and a composition using information from the clip and your own thoughts. Composition 150 words length. To hand in and cover sheet.
1.2 In groups of 4 create a questionnaire multiple choice (sample). You will create a Human Rights campaign at the end of the semester. This tool will help you to know the weaknesses and strengths in the school population. So, you will be able to focus on the needs to promote the HR's education.

Research about offices and NGOs in Mexico and Baja California. Identify any Human Right organization working in Mexicali. Bring information from the NGOs, address, and take pictures to prove your visit to the office. Compile all this information and present it to your teacher.

Use the information seen in class and research on the web and 1 bibliographic source(include your information resources) to create a post on your blog. 200 words length.
This subject has the main goal to promote in the students the individual and collective obligations. Also, to create self awareness in order to protect, to promote and to respect the Human Rights.

Search the biography for the following Human Rights characters: Cyrus the Great, Francisco Suarez (1548–1617), Hugo Grotius (1583–1645), Samuel Pufendorf(1632–1694), John Locke (1632–1704), and Immanuel Kant. Write a small summary for each philosopher on your notebook. Due date: Sept. 9th. 2014. Assignment #3 (individual) Find out which are the main International Human Rights Organizations and what do they do. Include a picture for each organization made in computer with cover. Due date: Sept. 9th. 2014 Assignment #4 (groups max. 3 members) Interview several people at your school. Video tape the interview. Find out what do they know about Human Rights. At the end of the video give your conclusion of the interview results. If they are positive or negative. And how much did you learn from each person's answers. Present the video in class.
