My Favorite Band

                                                      The Beatles

1. The Beatles were a famous band from the 60's.
2. They were formed in Liverpool.
3. The band members were John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Paul McCartney.
4. The Beatles used to play in clubs in Liverpool.
5. Their first hit was "Love Me Do".
6. After their break-up in 1970 they enjoyed successful musical careers.
7. They have more number-one albums on the British charts.
8. Paul  McCartney and Ringo Starr, the surviving members, remain musically active.
9. John Lennon was shot and killed in December 1980.
10. George Harrison died of lung cancer in November 2001.
